Ensure the tie-down winch pawl and sprocket are engaged. Verify the end cap turns freely by hand.

Attachment

Tip the Strap Max forward, slide the inner red drum over the end cap, then tip back to lock the hook onto the winch frame.

Wind

Grab the strap with your left hand, pull the cord handle with your right hand, and guide the strap centrally onto the winch frame.

Remove

When winding is complete, tip the wrench forward and pull the Strap Max off the winch. Ready for the next strap!
